The bracelet assistant is handmade from Bocote. The color of the wood body is a yellowish brown with dramatic dark brown to almost black stripes with a grain patterning that can be quite striking and it is not uncommon to see many "eyes" and other figuring. Bocote grows in Mexico and Central and South America. The hardware is  24kt gold plated.
The bracelet assistant acts as a third hand when attaching the clasp of a bracelet. It is an ideal accessory for any lady's jewelry box. The alligator clip holds the bracelet in position to assist attaching the clasp.
