Cambridge Hybrid Blue Dyed Maple Burl with Titanium Gold & Silver Plating
The pen is handmade from Stabilized Blue Dyed Maple Burl. Hard Maple burls yield a very peculiar and highly figured wood prized for its beauty and rarity. The burl is injected under pressure with blue dye and resin to further enhance and stabilize the wood and is then sanded and polished to a glass like finish. The pen hardware is silver and titanium gold plated.

The Cambridge Hybrid is a high-end pen with classic styling and perfect balance. The Cambridge's exquisite crafting feels as good as it looks. The sculptured fittings have been hand worked to produce a darker background against the hand polished representation of grapes and grape leaves, offering impressive contrast and complimenting the silver finish of the nib coupler, receiver, and finial. The Cambridge includes a Schmidt premium rollerball with a .6mm ceramic ball and stainless steel tip which allows ink to flow instantly and evenly.
