Bocote with Chrome Plating
The pen is handmade from Bocote. The color of the wood body is a yellowish brown with dramatic dark brown to almost black stripes with a grain patterning that can be quite striking and it is not uncommon to see many "eyes" and other figuring. Bocote grows in Mexico and Central and South America. The pen hardware is chrome with a black center band stripe.

A Designer or European pen is a medium body pen with a design reminiscent of the classic Monte Blanc style.
The pen is approximately 5 1/2" long and 1/2" wide (sizes vary because of the handcrafting process) and comes with a Cross black ink cartridge. The pictured pen (#448) is the pen you receive and is shipped in a felt pouch usually within 24 hours of order.
