Bocote with Chrome Plating
The bottle opener is handmade from Bocote. The color of the wood body is a yellowish brown with dramatic dark brown to almost black stripes with a grain patterning that can be quite striking and it is not uncommon to see many "eyes" and other figuring. Bocote grows in Mexico and Central and South America. The hardware is chrome plated.
