The pen is handmade from Bolivian Rosewood also known as Pau Ferro, Morado, and Santos Rosewood. Bolivian Rosewood color can vary highly ranging from reddish/orange to a dark violet/brown usually with a contrasting darker black streaks and grows in tropical South America, mainly Brazil and Bolivia. The pen hardware is gun metal plated.
