The double seam ripper/sewing stiletto is handmade from Brazilian Cherry, also known as Jatoba. The heartwood varies from a light orangish brown to a darker reddish brown, sometimes with contrasting darker grayish brown streaks. Jatoba grows in Central and South America and the West Indies. The hardware is chrome plated.
