The pen is handmade from Bethlehem Olivewood. Olivewood trees from the ancient city of Bethlehem, Israel (also known as Roman trees) have been bearing fruit since the time of the Romans. Many religious, historical, and artistic items have been made from this beautiful wood. Please note that no tree was damaged or destroyed in the harvesting of this wood. The color of the wood is a cream or yellowish brown with contrasting darker brown or black streaks. The pen hardware is titanium gold plated.
