Handmade Purpleheart Cigar Ballpoint Pen with Chrome Plating
This pen is handmade from Purpleheart, also known as Amaranth. The freshly cut wood is a dull grayish/purplish brown color but with exposure to the air and UV light the color changes to a deeper eggplant purple. Purpleheart grows in Central and South America from Mexico to southern Brazil. The pen hardware is chrome plated.
