Handmade Kingwood Bolt Action Ballpoint Pen with Chrome Plating
The pen is handmade from Kingwood. Kingwood is a dark purplish or reddish brown with darker black streaks and grows in Brazil. Considered a true Rosewood, Kingwood is among the densest and strongest of all Rosewoods. The wood supposedly got its name from several French kings (Louis XIV and Louis XV) that preferred the wood for fine furniture. The pen hardware is chrome plated.
Details
The realistic bolt-action handle smoothly advances and retracts to lock the refill in place. A bolt action rifle clip, a replica 30 caliber cartridge and rose gold bullet tip, and a replica rose gold bullet primer cap on the pen end adds authenticity. The pen is approximately 5 1/4" long and 1/2" wide (sizes vary because of the handcrafting process) and comes with a black Parker ink cartridge. The pictured pen (#579) is the pen you will receive and is shipped USPS priority mail in a gray felt with clear plastic lid gift box usually within 24 hours of order.
