Tycoon Lapis Blue Dyed Maple Burl with 24kt Gold Plating
The pen is handmade from Stabilized Lapis Blue Dyed Maple Burl. Hard Maple burls yield a very peculiar and highly figured wood prized for its beauty and rarity. The burl is injected under pressure with lapis blue dye and resin to further enhance and stabilize the wood and is then sanded and polished to a glass like finish. The pen hardware is 24kt gold plated.

The Tycoon is simply a great looking pen. The pen features ultra smooth and durable threading, a regal design and striking facets on the rollerball nib. The 24kt gold plating offers a bright pure gold plating that gives the pen a rich and luxurious look. The 24kt gold plating uses a premium process and is covered with an epoxy coating for an extremely durable surface. The pen is approximately 5 1/8" long capped and 6 1/8" long posted. The Tycoon includes a premium black rollerball cartridge. The pictured pen (#707) is the pen you will receive and is shipped in a black velour with gold trim gift box usually within 24 hours of the order. Gift boxes are available in the gift box menu.
