The bottle stopper is handmade from Marblewood also known as Angelim Rajado. The heartwood color is yellow to golden brown with irregular brown, black, or purple streaks and grows in northeastern South America. The stopper is chrome plated and has a tapered graduated silicone gasket that provides an air tight and leak resistant seal. The wood has a polyurethane finish to protect it from alcohol.
