Redheart with Chrome Plating
The seam ripper is handmade from Redheart, also known as Chakte Kok. Aptly named, freshly surfaced Redheart can be a very bright watermelon red although the color can vary in intensity and hue from a light orange/pink to a darker brownish red. Redheart grows in southern Mexico to southern Brazil and Paraguay. The hardware is chrome plated.
